Clocks, carpets, cradles, candlesticks -- that's just a fraction of the interesting stuff our San Diego video crew spotted while shooting behind-the-scenes of PBS's popular "Antiques Roadshow." This San Diego video production took place at the bayfront Convention Center, where hundreds of people toted their treasures for the show's expert appraisers to evaluate. This San Diego producer heard dozens of stories from people who dug through their garages and storage units in hopes of finding out their items were valuable. An Orange County woman showed off a tapestry that supposedly belonged to George Washington, while another man brought in a beautiful carved wooden lion. Though some left the roadshow dejected, we watched several others head home with ear-to-ear grins. That's my kind of recycling!
