Mary Hart interviews Lupita Nyong'o and Alfre Woodard
Our San Diego video production team stormed the desert again as Hollywood's A-list swept in for a night of glitz, glamour and awards at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala. It's the 13th year our San Diego video crews and San Diego producer have covered the event, where we we're always first on the red carpet and exclusive backstage. After shooting arrival interviews, our two crews moved inside the gala to light and shoot Mary Hart's exclusive one-on-ones with Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks, Matthew McConaghey, Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep, Bruce Dern and other potential Oscar nominees for "Entertainment Tonight." Another of our San Diego crews shot red carpet arrivals for TV's "The Insider," and handled the show's coverage of the film festival's star-studded brunch the next day.
Our San Diego video production team is privileged to be profiling military heroes for the half-hour news program, "The American Veteran," which is seen worldwide on The Pentagon Channel and Armed Forces Network. For the October edition, our San Diego producer and San Diego video crew were honored to tell the stories of three Iraq war veterans who are coping with post-traumatic stress disorder using sports and the same physical training regimen they learned in the military. Our San Diego video shoots took place on Mission Bay, at Black Mountain and at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, south of San Diego. We salute the brave men and women who proudly serve our country!
Our San Diego production team was up and running 24/7 during Comic-Con,
capturing exclusive footage of Tom Cruise signing autographs, and
shooting dozens of star interviews inside private hotel suites. We
pressed four San Diego video crews
into service, two of which rolled non-stop for five days at the Warner
Bros. booth inside the main exhibit hall. That's where they videotaped
Cruise's surprise appearance to promote his upcoming film, "Edge of
Tomorrow," alongside co-stars Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. Another of
our Comic-Con video crews
spent three days inside the Hard Rock Hotel, shooting star interviews --
including this one with Hugh Jackman -- for TV's "Entertainment
Tonight." Our San Diego field producer and
a fourth crew were based at the Bayfront Hilton, conducting star interviews inside a private one-on-one suite, on press lines and at
parties and events for TV's "omg!Insider."
Our San Diego video production team recently brought to TV the inspiring story at Archi's Acres, a small-scale organic farm being run by Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans in Fallbrook, north of San Diego. The San Diego video crew shot interviews and footage illustrating how former Marine Corps rifleman Colin "Archi" Archipley and his wife Karen turned a run-down avocado farm into a thriving agriculture business that's helped more than 100 veterans make the difficult transition to civilian life. You'll find "Archi's Acres" organic basil, kale and avocados at Whole Foods and other markets throughout Southern California. Just click on the arrow to watch our story, which aired on ABC's daytime show, "The Chew."
Our San Diego video production team is gearing up for what looks to be the biggest, craziest, most exciting Comic-Con yet. With passes for the annual entertainment extravaganza selling out in 93 minutes last month, all signs point to record-breaking attendance and an all-star lineup at the four-day event, July 18-21. Our Emmy-winning Comic-Con video crews, editors and producers have been at the forefront of the expo since the 1990s, handling video needs for Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Disney, 20th Century Fox, MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon and "Entertainment Tonight" to name a few. This year, we're also booking San Diego live event management, San Diego live broadcasts and San Diego webcast productions during Comic-Con. Oh, and we also love midnight zombie parades.
Our San Diego video production team was first on the red carpet, then exclusive backstage with Mary Hart for all the glitz and fun at the Palm Springs International Film Festival gala. It's the 12th year our San Diego video crew and San Diego producer have trekked to the desert for this all-access production, which aired Jan. 7 on "Entertainment Tonight." We snagged exclusives with festival honorees Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, Naomi Watts, Sally Field, Richard Gere, Helen Mirren, director Tom Hooper and more.
